My name is Tanya and I am a single mother of one. My daughter makes me who I am today and it is because of her that I strive to do and be my best.
I have been cooking since I was a little girl. Always in the kitchen with my mother helping with dinner. There were seven children in our household so there was always something to be done in the kitchen.
I learned everything that I know about the kitchen from my mother who was born and raised in Mississippi. It is with her quality and style of cooking that I continue to carry on today.
I often have events at my home and everyone would always tell me that I should open up a restaurant but as we all know that takes a lot of money. I decided to do the next best thing. I currently run my catering business from home but I am working towards opening my own restaurant.
